“The most innovative endoscopic techniques make it possible to avoid surgical intervention on many occasions”

¿What is Endos Advanced?

Endos Advanced is a pioneering project that arises to provide individualized treatment for pathologies or diseases that require high specialization in digestive endoscopy. Currently, the most innovative endoscopic techniques allow surgical intervention to be substituted on numerous occasions.

We offer high-quality diagnostic endoscopy and perform any advanced endoscopic treatment technique.

Our specialty is the “3rd space endoscopy”. It is a minimally invasive technique that uses the natural orifices of the body, without the need to make incisions in the abdomen. With advanced endoscopes, we create a safety cushion in the layer immediately below the mucosa of the digestive tract, achieving treatments with a high safety profile. In this way we can remove early tumors of the upper and lower digestive tract (esophagus, stomach, duodenum, colon and rectum), more completely and definitively than with conventional endoscopy and with the same efficiency as surgery, but with a much better recovery. faster. Also with these techniques we can treat motor disorders of the esophagus or stomach.

¿Why Endos Advanced?

Dr. Albéniz‘s team has international prestige and has the greatest national experience in the treatment of digestive motor disorders (POEM). He is one of the international pioneers in the removal of early digestive tumors or complex polyps

-We offer an endoscopic solution, which avoids surgery in most cases

This translates into a better and more comfortable postoperative period (shorter and with less discomfort) while maintaining very high efficiency rates.

We offer very innovative techniques such as Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection that completely removes tumors, with lesion-free margins. It eliminates early cancer and its precursor forms definitively.

Conventional endoscopy techniques are sometimes insufficient because they do not allow the resection of advanced polyps in one piece and they are cut into fragments. This fragmented resection favors the fact that small remains of tumor tissue remain unremoved and, over time, recurrence of the original lesion or a more aggressive polyp occurs. Studies show that incomplete polypectomy is a leading cause of colorectal cancer after colonoscopy (unexpected cancer that occurs before the recommended interval for follow-up colonoscopy).

Submucosal dissection is a much more effective technique, which prevents the appearance of recurrences and the development of cancer. It also reduces follow-up colonoscopies.

The appearance of cancer in recurrences is avoided, since incomplete polypectomies are one of the main causes of colorectal cancer after colonoscopy (unexpected cancer that appears before the recommended interval for follow-up colonoscopy).

“We don’t just treat cancer, we also prevent it”: Colorectal cancer screening colonoscopy is only effective if all colon polyps are completely detected and removed.

Pioneer group in advanced endoscopic treatments.

We are a pioneer group in these treatments at a national and international level, having already successfully treated hundreds of patients.

Our group performed the first cases in our country of endoscopic treatment of esophageal achalasia, submucosal tumors, gastroparesis (or lack of motility in the stomach), esophageal diverticula or cricopharyngeal achalasia associated or not with diverticulum of Zenker.

We do not treat diseases, we treat people. Our main motivation is personalized medicine. We treat each case individually and always after being evaluated by a multidisciplinary committee.

We solve the big problems and also the small ones. We are experts in treating very complex injuries, however everything is easier if it is done right from the beginning.

Early detection of lesions in their early stages and complete and safe removal of these lesions prevents cancer progression. Our quality standard allows us to offer the highest degree of confidence to our patients.

If you are looking for a second opinion about your endoscopic treatment or have been offered a surgical solution, contact us.

We work with the latest technology. We invest in the best endoscopic optics or high-quality medical equipment.

Only in this way can we achieve the best results.

Of course, technology without a highly qualified human team is not enough. Third space techniques are probably the most complex in the world of endoscopy and require many years of training and experience. Not only do we master these techniques, but we are a teaching team that participates in numerous national and international training courses.
